Story
You may recognize this superb fabric, which we fell under the spell of this winter. Cotton interlock: a knitted fabric, a bit like jersey, but double-sided, so thicker, yet still flexible. Ours is embossed on the outside and smooth on the inside.
This cotton is, of course, GOTS-certified organic. We go to great lengths to source local, ecologically responsible fabrics.
This cotton is grown in Turkey. It is then spun, woven and dyed in Portugal.
The GOTS label is the most demanding ecological label to date. GOTS-certified cotton doesn't use pesticides or any other chemical substances, preserving your skin and biodiversity.
It also guarantees safe and decent working conditions, prohibiting forced and child labor throughout the fabric production chain, from cultivation to dyeing.
The little golden lozenge with the initials mMJ is made in Riom in the Puy de Dôme region of France.
The label is made from woven cotton and printed in Paris.
Advice
Which size to choose?
Hélène wears a fairly small size.
Salomé is 1.76m tall and wears a size S.
Between 2 sizes, choose the next size up.
How do I care for it?
Hélène is machine washable at 30 degrees.
Iron gently.
Do not tumble dry.
How to wear it?
Very easy to combine, Hélène is the black sweater that will make you forget all your black sweaters.
It's delicate, but not girly. The ruffles are in just the right place to shape the silhouette and enhance every bust.
It's classy and easy, just like our friend Hélène who inspired its name!
